I have this hi vis line on several reels now and have cast it a lot throwing lures for trout and panfish. Love that my 67 year old eyes can see it so much better. I’m using mine with some clear leader line. I will buy this again next year when respooling next spring. Very happy with suffix line so far.

Excellent line if you fish at night or daylight. Have caught fish with this line and no problems. Great visibility!

I would not rate this as the best out there, but I wanted an affordable mono line that had good visibility. I use it on a spinning reel in conjunction with a lighter weight fluorocarbon leader attached with a small barrel swivel. It holds up well in stream fishing environments, and as mentioned, I can clearly see the line to have the ability to mend the line to keep it taut. The 8 lb. is more than enough, even for fish over 8 lb., as the rod does the hard work.

I put this line on medium tackle that I have for fishing rivers for channel catfish. It was very durable when a cat would hook on and run me into an underwater stump. I thought for sure that it was going to snap, but it held and I brought in a nice 8 lb. Channel Cat. It is also very good for feeling the hit on panfish and I was quite amazed at the visibility in low light conditions or when I use a lantern at night. Definitely be buying some other line weights.

I have been using this line exclusively for the last 4-5 years. I like this line a lot. Low memory, casts well and has excellent strength for the poundage. Higher end quality for a mid level price. Way better than trilene or Berkley. Fished it side by side with some trilene today (needed line in a pinch) and there was no comparison. Would recommend.

I've been using Sufix for several years now, and have always been especially impressed with Sufix Elite. The line is especially good for spinning rigs, which typically need a more supple line to avoid line twists. I find that Elite has a good balance of limpness that prevents line twist from happening. It's also quite strong, much more so than either Stren or Trilene. I've never had a line break below the knot with Sufix. All in all, I highly recommend this Sufix product.

After reading the reviews online, I decided to give this line a try due to people saying it lack memory etc. I've been fishing for more than half a century with nearly every line out there. In my never humble opinion, this is just a more expensive, but very AVERAGE fishing line. I find nothing that sets this line above the inexpensive lines out there except the price. It does the job, but no better than any other line I've tried and, again in my never humble opinion, is NOT worth the price. It DOES have about the same memory as every other line I've ever used, it's no limper, doesn't cast any better, and isn't stronger than the Strens and Trilenes. I won't buy this again and will keep looking for THE fishing line. . .
