Technology
Ultra-High Balance Point
For every inch that the balance point moves up the shaft, the stick feels 10 grams lighter in your hand. This is why we developed the Rx3.1 to have one of the highest balance points in the game. We wanted to find the perfect mix of performance and feel.
Precision Flex
The Surgeon Rx3.1 features our Precision Flex with dual kick points for quick release and extended load capacity. Compare this to our Stallion HPR2, which features our Power Flex profile to give you a constant flex throughout the shaft for maximum power.
Pureblade Power
The Pureblade Power was upgraded from the original Pureblade technology in the Surgeon Rx3.1 in two ways:
1. We changed the blade core by reducing the amount of carbon and replacing it with a lightweight, yet highly durable foam.
2. We re-engineered the 3k weave on the front of the blade to increase overall stiffness for added power.
Puregrip Geometry
When compared to the traditional square shaft profile of the HPR2, the Surgeon Rx3.1 features our patented ergonomic design to increase hand contact on the shaft, resulting in more control of the puck.

16 year old grandson was extremely excited to receive this hockey stick for Christmas. He needed it badly as his older stick was held together with duck tape and glue. He was so happy you couldn’t get that smile and joy off his face for a month.

Great weight.I play center. Mostly shoot wrist shots.I'm 5'10".If you're taller than 6'2", the stick may be too short. Check the sizing on the chart.

Bought my first one last year and after playing a season with it I wanted a backup stick of the same. Great stick, light and good 85 flex.

This stick lasts far better than any of the crappy wood sticks out there. Used it all season for street hockey and did not wear much at all. Has all the flex I need. Shaft shape is great for gripping.

I’ve used everything from CCM, Bauer, SherWood composites, and a host of old school wood sticks while growing up playing. The STX features are as unique as they are comfortable. As a former college Lacrosse player, the shaft felt right at home in my hands. Taped it weighed in at 415 grams, so not too shabby on weight, either. I’d recommend it.

It feels really good when handling the puck and has a great release. The material may be a little soft (which explains the reviews about it breaking) but you will never find a better stick for the price. I hope to get a few months out it before it goes. Even then, I think I can buy about four before it costs what that the average stick these days costs. Thank you STX for bringing a great stick to the market at an affordable price.Update: Stick has been holding up really well.
