Only buy this if you want to FRY your chicks!! As you can see in the pictures, I held a meat thermometer against the underside of the heater. The temp got up to 148.6!!! I can touch it with my hand for about 3 seconds before having to pull away. This is WAY too hot for chicks. Sending it back immediately.
