Photographers: Think of ordering this only as an experiment.I did not like the results for images in which I wanted to see tones and subtlety. The surface is so pebbly that it makes a sheen in almost all angles of view, adding a white to big areas of the image. "Pearl" surfaces on photo papers have a product history and were a well-regarded surface for traditional silver based printing in the darkroom. This is not that "pearl". Here the texture is huge, a stippled 3-D surface. In my good pro-level photo printer (Canon 9000 Mk2) some areas didn't really accept the ink, it appears, on my first try for which I selected "Luster" paper. I then tried "Semi-Gloss" and that may have created a better coverage. I admit I have only printed two sheets but I am wondering what I will do with two packages I ordered. The second image was a better fit with the weakness of the paper surface and I can send that for the purpose and articular correspondent, but I will put aside the rest of the product. I wish I had tried this right after purchase as it's too late to return it.Big mistake, but I know that any new paper or surface is an experiment and I should have bought one only.
