It's made of cheap components, I snugged my kayak all the way up to the ceiling and the side load bent the cam plate. I got the trap triangle version instead which has a third pulley which keeps the line parallel to the ceiling. It has the same quality components but it's a much better design

This was pretty easy to install and the installation videos did a good job preparing me for the task. The componants are of good quality and it shows when lifting and lowering. Very easy to manage.

I bought these lifts so I could suspend my kayaks from my ceiling joists. The lifts are well made, came with all the necessary materials to install them, and good clear instructions for the installation. Very satisfied with the product!

These pulley systems work really well, but the instructions for installation could be a little better

I specifically looked for a pully system to fly my canoe and as my Dad and son went to install it and the instructions said it was for less than 150 lbs. As we looked at the instructions they have a paddleboard as a picture. When I bought this it specifically said it could fly a canoe, so my family made it work. They made a shelf to hold the canoe, we flew it but it isn't holding the weight.

Meets expectations. For wider objects, such as our Kayaks, a side track attachment to the lock would be helpful. The lock engages easily, with a wide object. However it doesn't disengage easily. A side track, say 3-5", would help keep the ropes aligned while disengaging the brake.

Getting 2 systems was a good value. Since I had previously installed a very similar system, I knew the process, which was most useful since the instructions were a little difficult to follow. I have ten foot ceilings in the garage and needed multiple systems to help store my kayak and extension ladders so they would not take up a lot of floor space.
