For lack of a better word, it's very "bendy" and difficult for me to use. I keep going back to my old one.

Spring and wire are extremely flimsy and does not allow you to put any tension on the thread when looping the finishing knot. Too each their own, but I say skip this one.

This is whip finisher to WAY easier to use than the cheap one that came with my fly tying kit. That other one is already in the trash.

I don't really care for it. It runs all cattywhompas to what I'm used to.I've been using the Thompson style for 50 years. In this case, it's not the tool, it's me. It's probably good for someone else, just not what I prefer.

I have quite a few whip finishers and this is the best one I have by a long shot, so easy to use and the thread does not accidentally slip off like some others I have tried. Gives you a lot of control without the fuss.
