These are important to protect your paint. I always preferred the magnetic kind but they're proving harder and harder to find. StompGrip is a well known brand and this is easy to install and is pretty thick. But it's a bit pricey.

I've been thinking about trying a tank protector for quite some time and decided to give this one a go. It was easy to install and seems to hold well so far. I got clear so you want to put it on carefully and work out the air bubbles as they will show. In hindsight I might have gotten the black one so those don't show, but overall I'm really pleased with how this is working. I would say once you install it you really can't remove it and reapply so make sure you get the right place.Oh and it says Made in the USA which is awesome as well!
