this is nice looking but does not even look like steering wheel security, so if a person were looking to steal your car they would not even see this tool. it does not seat properly, nor does turning the wheel honk the horn, i completely forgot about this or it would have been returned. hmmmmm??? maybe ill use it for self sefense lol

I've had many steering wheel locks, but this type is by far the best. I bought one in gray for my partner and one in black for myself. Unlike my last steering wheel lock, you do not have to unlock it to put it on the wheel, only to take it off. It's also better than the other models you can buy at Autozone, those colored ones can pinch your fingers and are just overall less attractive.

I like the design of this unit. It is easy to take on and off and stores easily. I also think it offers better protection against theft than other designs I have looked at. I found that it is important when applying the unit to make sure it closes tightly around the steering wheel, which on my car means placing your thumbs on the top of the unit and pulling up the two hooks with your fingers until the lock clicks. I highly recommend this unit.

Very easy to manipulate and seems well made except the grip is on steering wheel is looser than needs to be. I have the Allen Key with no instructions for what it's for, the online version doesn't have the video neither does the grey version of the app. The only place you can watch the video is on the app for the black version.But even then, it shows you where to use the Allen key which I did but makes no difference from it being turned one side or the other. Not sure if it's suppose to tighten the hooks on the wheel and the air bag apron but it doesn't, both are pretty loose. Even if I wiggle it strongly, it doesn't come off so that's good but it looks a lot more loose vs the video and the airbag apron does not honk the horn like in the video, mine is too loose.Still I like it better then the other models so will keep it, hope it doesn't make it easier to cut by a thief.

The main lock that sits on the steering wheel looks like a min vault which is a good deterrent. It can be a little tricky to position or unlock sometimes but it's not a problem. It does not fully wrap the steering wheel and there is a little space so it might slip but only slightly. The stainless steel will get burning hot when the temperature gets to 80 or above, so you will want to use gloves or a cloth to remove it after it's been sitting for a while. I liked the price and the fact that it sits on the top of the wheel unlike others without ruining the rubber or leather.

It’s easy to install and hard to break. But be aware of marks on the steering wheel as the whole wait rests on it. Recommend installing a cover to steering wheel before using it to lock
