I was going to use this on my center console in the car for Uber passengers, but I can either place the glass facing the back seat which puts the tip slot far away, or the tip slot towards the backseat but you can't see in the glass... And it's very difficult to mount to a center console. It's more for a stationary location.

With a few changes, this could be a great product. Here are my thoughts.- I think the size is perfect if you are looking for a small donation/tip box.- the metal frame & the locking mechanism feel sturdy, but the locking bar doesn't glide smoothly; it catches halfway.- The attachable locking cable with 3 digit combination is a great idea, but I think it would be preferable to have a slightly thicker cable. Also, the holes to insert the cable are a little too close together, making it difficult to remove the cable.- The plastic viewing pane is held in place with some ledges in the frame; however, there is no ledge near the door so the plastic pane moves, leaving approximately a 1/4" gap. Not very secure. See attached photos.- I would love it if there was an option without the viewing pane so people cannot see how much money is inside.
