This works so well to keep toothbrushes clean. I screwed this in to the wall, so I don't know about the tape, but the screws work great. I use it for five toothbrushes. I traditional and 4 electric. We only put the electric toothbrush heads in the sanitizer and store them in there. I don't think the box could support the bases of the electric toothbrushes, but why would you want to anyway? We leave the bases charging and the heads in the sanitizer. Everyone agrees that the toothbrushes feel a LOT cleaner. You will notice it immediately. This is well worth it. My only wish would be that you could get replacement parts to replace the lights once they burn out. I would love to not have to replace the whole thing when the lights burn out - such a waste.

So far I’ve been using it and it’s working out pretty good. No issues. Very easy set up and good to go.

First off, a few facts about UV-C light: It can sanitize efficiently if it has enough power and the target germs are LOS (Line of sight) from the source. This unit only has one UV-C bulb, so it has no way to reach all of the brush surfaces- it might cover 50%. UV-C light does not reflect off of ANY surfaces, or even pass through glass. So it doesn't matter how many mirrored surfaces are inside, the UV-C spectrum stops when it hits one of them- even though the area is still illuminated. It's not effective unless the bulb is pointing directly at the surfaces that the germs are on (LOS). You'll get maybe 50% coverage and plenty of light, but not enough sanitizing...better than nothing, but not what I'd hoped for, so I'll return it.
