I decided to have brushed brass in my newly-remodeled kitchen, and these grids are a perfect match. I have an Elkay granite sink, and I'd read that some who have the same sink have scratches after a short time. These grids not only prevent scratches from my new convection stove (heavy) cookware, but they also protect dishes and glassware the might be placed a little too roughly in the sink or accidentally dropped while being washed.
