Works great, good price, cuts through angle iron like it's nothing. For the first use of a new blade it'll leave some yellow paint residue behind but that's not a big deal

I always buy Starrett hacksaw blades. Fit perfectly and stay sharp for a very long time (if you use the correct tooth count for the material you are cutting).

I use both the 18 tpi and 24 tpi and find them excellent. They last a long time and best of all, they cut straight unlike a lot of the other imported junk. In the long run, if you do a lot of metal cutting these are extremely economical ( I buy the 10 packs).

Each saw has a thick coat of yellow paint with the TPI on the blade. The plastic package (comes with set of 10 blades) is reusable and keeps the blades organized and separated from other tools. The quality is as one expects from Starrett. The blades are made in Brazil, not USA. The set is wavy.

I work in a Lock Shop and we cut lots of brass and Steel. We go through lots of blades or we complain how dull the blades are until I finally get fed up and bought these blades (and a new saw). I am very very happy with these blades, Best we have ever gotten. They stay sharp and last a long time. Only down side it the yellow paint come off kinda easily and gets on whatever your cutting. That's not a big deal for us so keeping the Awesome product 5 star rating!!

I don't use a lot of hack saw blades. I have used one blade for one job. It worked well., and it's not worn out. I can probably use this same blade for several more small jobs, this package of ten may be a life time supply for me.
