07 Dodge Charger 5.7: received a check gas cap warning light that wouldn't go away, changed the gas cap twice. My code reader came up with a code, P0455. A Google search stated these are the most common to trigger a warning/code. It took about 5 minutes to replace. It's so simple. Save some money and do it yourself. Cleared up code.I will provide an 60 day update.

If your Dodge HEMI is making a moaning sound at most speeds and at light to moderate throttle especially around 20-40 mph then this Purge Solenoid may cure your problem.I had no codes and the moaning occurred only on the road with the car moving. In Park and at idle, or some throttle, there was no unusual sound whatsoever. Very hard to trouble shoot! Multiple web and car blog searches yielded nothing of use. I finally decided that the moaning seemed to be originating on the right side of the engine compartment and may have been a vacuum leak or some such. I suspected the emission control systemI took a chance and ordered the solenoid and installed it. Suddenly the HEMI was as quiet at all speeds just as if it were new. I discovered later that the cure only occurred with a full or nearly full fuel tank. At least I have confirmed that the emission control system is the cause of the moaning.
