We roasted a 45 pound pig. We had purchased a chain separately to hold the pig snug. If we hadn't, I doubt this would have worked. Adjusting the height required removing the spit, so it was a three person job with everyone wearing oven mitts. That made it pretty tough to adjust to cooking temp.

The height adjustment for the motor is done with four screws. It will be interesting when there is actually fire in the pit. It's not as tall as the picture makes it look. Once assembled the motor doesn't work. Motor comes from China, company claims 18 days.

It is a great grill, cooks very good, but you need to watch out for flame up's, as the grease from what you're cooking will drip onto the fire..
