*Whether it's barbecue or grilled chicken, there's always a chance that your skewered food isn't completely skewered in the middle, so there's a weight imbalance. This causes the electric oven to rotate unevenly and the barbecue to bake unevenly. With this skewer counterweight, you can counteract this problem and allow your BBQ to rotate evenly.
*The bearings can be mounted to the spit bar on the other side of the motor so that the bearings "run" in the side wall notches instead of the spit bar. This allows the barbecue to rotate more smoothly and evenly (for square and hexagonal barbecue ) and prevents the barbecue from "sliding out" of the motor.

No matter how much I try to get a chicken mounted and balanced on a rotisserie spit, it still ends up unbalanced. This goes a long way to resolving the problem. I just find the heavy side and set this opposite. Helps considerably. For me, a must have.
