Some of the smaller Quick Links there are two (2) quick links in each pack, so please look carefully as this is a variation listing. Each quick link is stamped 316. Not to be used for overhead lifting. AISI 316 stainless is a premium grade of stainless and is considered by many to be best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion resistant and very durable even in the harshest of conditions.

These are for the 1/4” 4-pack. Great quality, very smooth threads. Fair price. Perfect for lead lines on crab pots.

RIL's review of the 3/8 link to set up climbing routes led me to settle on this product for my climbing need. I was looking for a top quality 1/4" link for throw-away emergency usage, when bailing off a route or backcountry abseils. Much cheaper than leaving behind expensive gear and plenty safe for the use case. (Do not climb on nor lower on 1/4"...) This size fits just right on a typical harness haul loop, and although the gate opening is 8mm and I will use with half ropes, I successfully tested that could squeeze a beefy 10.2 rope through. Smooth threads with no slop and full engagement. Perfect.(For the reviewer unhappy with the lack of locking... nowhere does it say these lock, and you can absolutely lock a stainless steel quick link - use Loctite or get out your tig welder and drop a couple tacks. Problem solved.)

I use these as a redundant connection between my dog leash and harness in case the regular clip breaks. They're very light so don't get in the way. The high working load gives me confidence the regular clip does not!

Received 1 of the 2 packages. The other package was welded rings. Please contact me. I see no other way to contact you. I am sure irs just a mistake. Would like to keep the one package and have the other corrected. Update. Was able to return the one wrong package and ordered another one. At home stores you can only get two of these for this price. High quality! I use these on my leaded line for my shrimp pots and tanner crab pots.
