These compression fittings in 3/8" are NOT compatible with potable water line connectors. Would be nice if the description notes had listed these details. Otherwise, they appear to be high quality parts.

I used these couplings to splice a hydraulic system line on my Mercedes SL 550. It worked great this is good quality hardware.
