Good grip on the feet. They keep the counter from getting a wet ring from the bottom of the basin. Can clean the basin after emptying of dishes. Old plastic one absorbed gunk forever.

I switched to a metal dishpan due to mold issues with plastic ones. The metal dishpan is an upgrade.
