Like previous reviewers have stated this vellum isn't quite translucent enough to be used for papercrafts like card making. Although you can still see through it the background image or image behind the vellum will be a very deep haze. It's still useful if you want very subtle effect but for use with markers or calligraphy it's great. Ink dries very quickly on the surface. I'm still going to be using this for my cards but it shows up best when you use dark colors behind or just a plain color wash background.

I love this beautiful paper. It is so rich feeling. A group of artists used it to make mini "one page" books. They were a hit with everyone. It folded well and colored pencil illustrations looked fantastic on it.

This is similar to the Charprint 916h 100% rag technical tracing vellum I used back in the 70s for practicing calligraphy -- something I'm now picking up again. Ink does not bleed on this paper, it is the perfect smoothness, and it is just transparent enough to see a penciled guide sheet behind it. With an art eraser, pencil easily and totally disappears. I love this paper and am now ordering again.
