DMWD Low cost single phase solid state relay SSR-60DD

Input voltage 3-32V DC

Load voltage 5-60V DC

Load current 60Amp

60A 3-32V DC to DC solid state relay (SSR) features high structural strength, good impact resistance, and strong shock resistance. The SSR offers a reliable switching the commercial and industrial loads, such as computer peripheral interface device, printing machine, molding machine, food machine, packaging machine, and so on.

  • Built in RC absorption
  • Photoelectric isolation
  • SCR output
  • LED indicator for operation status
  • Panel mount
  • Zero-crossing switch type
  • UL Approved, CE Compliant to EN60950-1

Note:

* When the load current is higher than 10A, a heat sink must be installed to the solid state relay, or the SSR relay should be mounted on a metal base plate with heat dissipation effect, and the thermal grease is applied between them.

* When the load current is 40A or more, a fan cooling radiator or water cooling radiator must be equipped.

* Heat sink is included.

No way is this rated for 60amps. It melted at 25amps and 53V.

Survived 120 amps for 5 mins(originally were for the 50 amp side but changed for safety and forgot they were rated for 50)

I have the DC to DC version of this and when I wired it up, it incorrectly allowed current flow even with nothing connected to the input. I thought it was defective but before giving up I tried reversing the load and the supply wires and now it works perfectly.In particular, the diagram uses the SSR-60DD as an example:1) It shows an AC supply voltage but the device is DC-to-DC2) It shows supply voltage on terminal 1 and load voltage on terminal 2. That is backwards and those should be reversed.I can't yet speak to the longevity of the product since I've only been using it for 1 day.
