Great “Downgrade”. No more soft aluminium bolt! My cranks come on and off a lot. The aluminium is kinda lousy. The steel is where it’s at!

I have to buy another cap because the one I had fell out. That seems to be a general problem with these caps. Make sure you order the right one, because the Eagle MTB caps and road caps are different. It installs easily and fits the crank well. You’ll need a special tool, or a chainring wrench to cinch the cap up. Hopefully the third time will be the charm in keeping it from being lost.

Item is good, however, it won't stay on the crank arm. So I lost it. Horrible design by sram and wouldn't recommend it.
