The SRAM breaks were good quality, easy install, and worked out on my 8 speed road bike very well. Excellent stopping performance and much lighter than the stock breaks installed on my bike.

Was too short for my bike and did not fit. While I don't understand why you wouldn't make these more general fit so that more people could buy and use them, I wont blame a product not designed for my bike for not fitting on my bike.That said with these measurements being as important as they are. It would be nice if any of them were actually included in the sellers description. I still don't know how long this one reaches, but my bike needed a 55mm caliper and this was around 5 mm short at its longest length. So its probably somewhere around the 47-51mm area if I had to guess.

I was hoping for fancier technology, but the price was SO LOW! Also, The quality, fit, finish, look and feel of the product is superior. HUGE bang for the buck! Perfect, effortless install and brief tune time, briefer break-in time. Tight and responsive. Please consider watching online tutorials, and also please don’t buy professional tools if you don’t plan to use them daily. Professional tools would have halved the tuning process hour, but who cares? nobody’s paying me.it’s extremely important that you install carefully, and please be sure to purchase levers that are appropriate for these brakes, as this is NOT a cookie-cutter install. Equally important is a sense of how much torque to apply, when, where, and how. Please don’t overtorque anything.There’s no shame in paying for professional installation. These high-quality parts are worth it.

As light as Ultegra. Work well. Some fasteners are prone to surface corrosion, but can be cleaned up. Great value for the price.

Amazing price. Very lightweight. Easy installation and operation. Generally I use only shimano products. If this type of brake was needed again I'd definitely consider this or this brand/more expensive product lines sram offers. Side note: the advertisement submits the brake pads shipped w/the calipers perform exceptionally but I decided upon different pads which were installed immediately along w/the caliper installation so I can't comment on the pads. I still have them & eventually will use them.Also there was a mix-up w/usps delivery and upon contacting was offered instead UPS delivery and furthermore was given the updated lower price/refunded the difference w/in the hour of the conversation w/the seller. Thanks for everything in every way!

Looks clean. Grabs so hard. You should get these if you need brakes to help you stop good. If you want to stop bad don't get these.

Used on my 1980s Peugeot road bike. Due to the length of the bolts and size of the mount holes I had to use the rear callipers on the front and the front on the rear. However aside from this hiccup I found no issue in attaching these and getting them set up. Highly recommended and from an excellent brand

Los frenos son muy ligeros (parece plástico), pero muy sólidos. Se siente claramente la diferencia con un cangrejo patito. Hay que tomar en cuenta el alcance (reach), pues son cortos. Entra sin problema una llanta 28, y probablemente hasta 32 (ya haré la prueba). Generalmente son algo caros, pero bajaron a $1,004 y no lo pensé mucho. Recomendable cambio si sientes muy suaves tus actuales frenos.

auch ich habe mit diesen Bremsen ein altes Rennrad, bei dem die Bremsen versagt hatten, aufgewertet . Außerdem habe ich neue Bremszüge von Shimano verlegt. Vorne kann ich mir echt nicht vorstellen, dass das im Bezug auf die Bremsleistung/Leichtgängigkeit abgesehen von Hydro-Scheibenbremsen noch viel besser geht. Hinten ist es aufgrund des längeren Bremswegs minimal schwergängig/kraftaufwendiger - aber das ist wohl zu erwarten. Insgesamt ist die Bremsleistung völlig in Ordnung.

I bought an Apex- equipped bike but it came with entry level Tekros brakes that I thought had very weak stopping power. I wanted to buy better brakes and was considering getting Sram Rival or Force brakes but I saw that the Apex were very inexpensive and I took the plunge. I love these brakes. They are lighter, look better and most importantly, they give you plenty of stopping power so you don't feel as unsure when you descend because you know that these brakes work great.
