I don't understand the poor reviews of this item. It's a basic wool pad that functions exactly as expected. A small amount of linting in the beginning which quickly stops. Cuts well, as all wool does. The velcro isn't the strongest, but it hasn't come off in use. I see people saying it burns through clear coat. No, YOU burned through the clear coat. Perhaps the people who say it flies off are using it at high speed at an extreme angle. I keep the pad mostly flat and keep the rpm to 1500 or so. No reason to go higher with how well this cuts. For anyone hesitating to buy, go ahead. If you don't know how to polish paint with a rotary do yourself a favor and watch a few videos. You won't be disappointed with these pads.

The advertisement explaining the item I purchased clearly states that it has adhesive backing. The actual backing is some kind of black cloth in lieu of an adhesive backing. I will return these items and reorder from another Vendor. Why does the vendor intentially misrepresent his own product.?
