I bought these because most all scratchers get destroyed before they get worn out. For some reason, these were cheap. The concept was easy , custom mounted them to the outside of the rail, they stay down all the time in my case, Just be very precise in how you locate the two bolt holes, I conveniently had one hole already in the skid rail, again, just lay everything out and assemble the parts as they would go onto the Snowmobile rail and you’ll understand why they need to be pretty precise on the hole locations

Mounting plates are weak, one broke during installation. Replaced the mount and the springs broke off at 25 miles and 40 miles. Not durable, but when they were on the sled they worked fine. So going to buy a better set that will last longer.
