Have a couple of older Hogg It sights. When I got my V3X I knew I wanted a 5 pin slider so I could have 20-60 for hunting but be able to shoot way out there on the range for fun. I bought this and a Black Gold Pro Hunter HD to compare side by side. While the Black gold was lighter the Spot Hogg is hands down built better, beefier and is much smoother to adjust. Without a doubt this is going to be rugged and dependable. If you want a tough, well built sliding sight then this is your Huckleberry.

when loosen the knob to adjust the sight left-to-right, the whole sight system flops around. Crank the knob to move it left or right, and the whole sight system flops up and down. As if it goes back to the exact placement of before... NOT. Pain in the neck. 360 bucks for a half-backed product.
