Easy to put together, I put in all the screws and only had to tighten them slightly with the wrench. I then put the item on and walked around the yard in an area that the ground had gotten too compact and weed overgrown. The item worked well to punch holes in the ground, and I will continue using this regularly.

Overall these spike shoes are just fine. It was a bit of an annoyance to tighten in the screws for the spikes but was mostly just time consuming over being actually difficult. They penetrated the ground well though a few spots did have me pressing in my whole body weight to have the effect that I wanted.

The two spike shoes come unassembled. They are a hard plastic base and the spikes have to installed for use. It is very to install the 26 spikes for both shoes. The shoes have straps to attach to your regular shoes. Just secure the straps tightly and your set to walk around the yard to aerate the soil. Nice product. Would purchase again.
