Your cart is empty.The Speedball Ink Extender Base mixes with your water soluble printing ink to create gorgeous, transparent colors. Simply apply a small amount of ink to the base and thoroughly mix for a gorgeous, streak free result. The viscosity of your block printing ink will not be affected when using the ink extender base, so you will produce consistent results every time. Use the extender base to create beautiful results on both fabric and paper. It works great on cotton, polyester, linen, rayon and other synthetic fibers (not nylon), paper and cardboard too. Clean up is fast and easy. When you are done with your project the extender base and ink will wash off using soap and water. The Speedball Ink Extender is ACMI AP certified as non-toxic, so it is safe for everyone to use both at home and in the classroom.

More than half of the tubes that I have ordered from Speedball have broken open at the end while I am using the ink. Ink is wasted and it causes a mess. The packaging is awful.

Without this extender my ink dries out quicker than I can put my print on a canvas. It’s an affordable alternative than just buying oil based ink, especially since I got all my ink from gifts

It has one job, and it does it well. Needed to make about 24 prints and I was able to do that with a little left over.

Works well, does seem to change the color when mixing with multiple inks.
