Long story shorter, I ended up replacing my front wheel bearings and had a hassle with the rust. So much so that the knuckle had to be removed and taken to a mechanic shop where they took an acetylene torch and a 20 ton press to it for 10 minutes before anything resolved. Once the issue was dealt with, I brought the knuckle back to my prius and installed everything back together to the strut, tie rod, and lower ball joint. The issue at hand is because I had removed the knuckle from the strut and did not mark the exact positioning on the knuckle with a marker, my alignment for the camber had shifter -2 degrees from the factory range. This ultimately chewed up my tires after 20,000 miles. Finally pulled the trigger and got this kit and within 20 minutes, it was installed and using a camber gauge, put exactly to factory spec of -0.5 for both sides. I don't know why I was paranoid or overly thinking the safety concerns of this bolt but they are rated for spec and will handle exactly as needed without fail. The adjusting part was a bit flimsy because micro twisting of the cam bolt can shift a 1/2 degree down to 3 degrees within a a split quarter turn. Super happy with result and should suffice until I need to replace my struts and springs which I estimate another year or two (Still on the original sets with 220,000 miles and 18 years). Toyota makes them good!

I used these on my mother in laws 1998 toyota rav4 4 door today to adjust the front camber after installing new front struts, her car had 2 degrees on positive camber per wheel, I adjusted them right at .5 degrees per wheel positive camber with 1/8" tow in, it should help with her outer tire wear.

Had a chronic problem with my son's 2005 prius eating tires. Took the car to Farm&Fleet where they attempted multiple times to align the front and rear. To F&F's credit, they did not charge for the alignment (spent many hours on it), and ended up with negative camber in both sides of the front.I just installed the bolts and used a magnetic (BESITA Adjustable Magnetic Gauge) to see the original camber, then added positive camber. Hopefully this will fix the problem.I'm very happy with the bolts, it was a simple process to install and adjust and tweek the camber.The whole process took about 25 minutes per wheel.Jack up the car on the side slot beneath the front door.Pull the tire, put the wheel nuts back on, put the gauge on the brake disk, and see the current setting.Loosen the lower strut bolt, remove the top strut bolt and put in the new Adjust bolt.Adjust as needed for the camber, tighten everything up.I like that the new bolts have the torque spec on the package.Very happy with the bolt kit.

Works well, but beware of over-torquing it. To get it to stick in any race applications, I would use some sort of thread glue and tighten it almost to the point of over torquing it.
