Spartan Industrial - 1in x 60yd Masking Tape 6-PackThis tape has worked well for temporary labeling, temporary anchoring, painting, and auto detailing. One-inch tape is too narrow for packing and none of the crafts I do require masking tape, so I have no input on those applications.It accepts ball-point and Sharpie ink well, but pencil, not as well.It worked very well for roller, brush and spray painting using both latex and oil-based paints. Masked edges were clean with no bleed through. The adhesive stuck reliably to minimally prepared textured surfaces and conformed to the textured topography. It removed without damage or adhesive remnant.It sticks extremely well to smooth hard surfaces that have been wiped with isopropyl alcohol and after a couple of hours left no adhesive remnant. The adhesive is strong enough that you’ll want to fold the tag end of the roll back on itself to avoid frustration when starting the next peel off the roll.No alcohol prep is required for polish/wax masking on clean automotive paint. The tape stands up well when hit with a rotary polisher, but the edges eventually fray after multiple encounters. Not an issue.I received the 6-pack 15-days ago and have only used about 20% of the first roll. I live in the Pacific NW and, so far, the humidity has had no adverse effect. I keep the unopened rolls in a ZipLoc bag and will see what its shelf life is. I'll update if it's different than 3M Blue.4-Stars instead of 5 because for some reason it doesn't stick great to an un-prepped cardboard box (temp labeling). Weird because it adheres well to an un-prepped textured and painted wall. Anyway, a quick damp rag wipe takes care of the problem, but who wants the extra step and wait?Finally, at $0.01 per foot it is 1/3 the price of 3M Blue.

Other options have way to much adhesive which makes trying to start to peal the tape to use it very difficult. this option works just the way it should.

Tape applies very easy and can later be removed without tearing the item or wall it is on. We used it for painting and the kids used it for crafts.
