Kantha is still the most popular form of embroidery practiced by rural women. Typically use old saris and cloth and layer them with Kantha stitch to make a light blanket, throw, or bedspread. It is a quilt medium-weight quilt. It isn't filled so you need a thick blanket under it for winter. During Summer, spring, and fall it is fine itself.

Washing Instruction
Dry Clean. DO NOT BLEACH {These are handmade products so color, design & pattern may be slightly different from the picture shown for a product.}
- Just washed in the cold, dry medium. No fading or color bleeding. Keep it simple!
- Wash the Quilts whenever it is dirty in cold water using mild detergent. However, do not tumble dry or bleach.
- Make sure that you hang the Quilts in a location that is not exposed to direct sunlight for the entire day.

The seller promised me I would get the item by the earliest expected date and I received it 4 days after ordering. The colour I chose which was the Navy, was exactly like the picture, as well as the other colours in the print. So really pleased. There is no layer of wadding between the top and bottom layer of fabric which I know some buyers were disappointed with. It is perfect for my purposes though. I use it as a throw on my bed, for an extra layer of colour. Over a warm quilt for winter or on it's own in the Summer. I am really pleased and delighted and the customer service was excellent.

I purchased this quilt a few years ago and I've gotten so many compliments on it and love it so much that I bought another one. The colors are so beautiful and my first quilt has lasted for years! It's still in great shape but now I have a larger bed, so I bought another one in a larger size. Shipping was very fast & the quality and price are fantastic!

This is a very lightweight bed cover. It was exactly what I wanted though. Beautiful. I haven’t washed it yet but it appears to have a few frays on the edges. Still a great bedcover, glad I purchased it.

Color is darker than I ordered. Originally what I wanted to have a name call "Baby pink" and very light colorbut I received almost neon pink and different pattern too. Disappointing!!!

WE LOVE THE COVERS (we ordered two of different colors) but it took awhile to receive them. They came from India or somewhere and traveled halfway around the world getting here and were held up in customs at most every different country they passed through but we were not in a rush to receive them. Just want to make others aware so they won't be disappointed with shipping time

Very nice quilt. It does not have thin layer of stuffing like what I usually think of as a quilt. It really is just two pieces of fabric sewn together. Despite this, it is quite heavy and warm. This, a sheet and a blanket is great (granted, I do live in Florida). The queen size I ordered is plenty wide enough and perhaps a bit long if anything, which is much better than too short. The photo seemed like there was sage green and teal in the quilt. In person, I would say the colors are more like true green and pale blue. I was amazed at how fast it came. I said it would take a month but it actually came in less than a week.

Um this thing totally exceeded my expectations! i can be ultra american and not want to purchase anything that's not on prime or like delivered the next day. i'm super glad i curbed my annoying habits and waited for the beauty to arrive! the colors are insane and well i just absolutely love it.

The background color of the quilt is darker than pictured; it's actually more the color of the floral print Kantha ( which I also bought). However, it is spectacular! Very sturdily made, considering it is a lighter weight than a conventional quilt. It sounds weird, but I just painted my bedroom a shade of green/slight blue, and this quilt compliments it perfectly. Honestly gorgeous.
