eWeLink APP Pairing Instruction
1. Download “eWeLink” app in APP Store for iOS or in Google play for Android.
2. Cut off the power before installing the device. Then power it up after completing the installation.
3. Press and hold the "APP Pairing manual button" on the device about 7 seconds, then you will hear the sound "beep" 3 times.
4. Choose the right pairing mode. It will auto-search and connect the device.
5. Input home WiFi SSID & password.
6. Name the device to complete.

This is the 3rd one I have bought, for different ceiling fans in my house. Easy to install and connect. Allows you to easily control your ceiling fan with alexa.

I installed 4 of these, and they all work great. I wish the light was a dimmer, but other than that nit they work great. I reflashed them with esphome, which was easy and well documented, and they work great with Home Assistant. They are a tad large but did fit in my existing Home Depot fans.

Uso iPhone, y desconozco si en Android es distinto pero los 2 sonoff ifan04-l que he comprado tienen problemas cuando los quiero configurar con la app ewelink.Cuando enciendes por primera vez el ifan04 hace una serie de beeps: dos cortos y uno largo y se repiten por 3 minutos, este es el indicador para configurarlo con la app, pero nunca tuve suerte, inluso si presiono el boton que tiene para entrar en modo de configuración de nuevo.El truco que encontré en un foro de internet es:Apagar y encender 5 veces el ifan04, ya sea del switch de la pared o de la pastilla termomagnética (depende como lo hayas conectado). Cuando hagas este ciclo de 5 veces tienes que dejarlo encendido y comenzará a emitir los beeps, pero ahora serán puro sonidos cortos (no 2 cortos y 1 largo).Cuando esto suceda tendrás que seleccionar en tu app de ewelink la opcion de "Emparejamiento compatible" en la pantalla de "Añadir dispositivo" (adjunto foto), sigues las instrucciones en pantalla y listo.Integrarlo con Home Asssitant fue sencillo usando "Sonoff LAN" de AlexxIT, pero tuve que recurrir a una tarjeta custom de finity69x2/fan-percent-button-row para que se viera como en la imagen ajunta.El control remoto es horrible, las etiquetas de los botones son poco intuitivas, hay botones que solo usas una vez en tu vida (sync, mute) y confunden mucho, además es muy pequeño y al fijarlo en la pared junto con el apagador normal se ve ridículo.Agregaré calcomanías con los números 0,1,2,3 para la velocidad del ventilador en los botones, aunque el 90% de las veces controlo todo con Home Assistant.No he encontrado ningún otro producto mejor al ifan04, este equipo sonoff es muy confiable, llevo años usando los relays wifi para iluminación y estoy muy contento con la calidad.

Very easy to install - it may be a bit too wide to tuck in to the canopy on some fans but most fans made in the past decade actually have a spot built in to their bases where you can double sided tape them in to place on the hanger frames. The remote is a bit weird (more buttons than needed and in odd alignments) but when paired with a smart wall switch (just using it as a scene controller - not connected to the fan power itself) you can just control it from there and leave the remote by your bed, etc. Sonoff makes great hardware and they actually respect the open source/hardware hacker community so you can easily flash the hardware to ESPHome/Tasmota/etc and bypass their app all together if you choose. The remote works on 433Mhz so you can also use 3rd party RF remotes and switches (very easy to sync). I have several of these around my house and the remotes are linked to the individual fans and do not interfere with one another or you can sync the remote to multiple fans and control several at once. Really easy to work with and customize. The only con is they do not include a wall mount/holder for the remote itself but they can be found aftermarket for a few dollars.

I have tested many ceiling fan controllers, some running by RF controlled by equipment like Broadlink RM Pro to make them smart. But since I ordered a SONOFF iFan04 unit for testing, I found an excellent product to replace all -again, all- my old "semi-smart" fan controllers.It has direct support for 2.4Ghz WiFi. But for those of us who use a single SSID for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequencies, the application has a compatible installation function to configure the device without having to change our network settings.I can configure through the app what the is the behavior when power outage, for both the light and the fan. And best of all, I found a plugin for Homebridge that has allowed me to add it to HomeKit with a very awesome response time. Although it also works with Alexa or Google Home.

This product works to control my dumb ceiling fan, but getting it set up was awkward and fiddly. The unit itself is bulky, and moving wires out of the way to get it to fit was a chore compared to the Hampton Bay Fan Controller it replaced. It also lacks a dimming feature and only has three fan speeds.What it does well is integrate with Home Assistant and it STAYS paired to my Zigbee network.

cuando lo cimpre pense que era mas pequeño ya tenia otro disposotivo de otra marca solo que no fuinciona muy bien y el control se ve muy feo y lo que me gustaba de este es el contril que es mas pequeño y se ve de mejor calidad pero no cabe en la caja del ventilador una lastima x que queria automatizarlo

Bought two of these to add my porch fans to Home Assistant. Was able to easily flash with Tasmota and integrate via MQTT to Home Assistant. The included remotes continue to work fine, and I am even able to reconfigure so both fans can be controlled together from either remote.Size wise they easily fitted into the top of my flush mount Hunter fans. The wiring was very simple too.

Installed 3 ceiling fans. The unit barely fits between the bracket so it took some manuevering but I was eventually able to get it to fit with all the wires. As of right now they are working flawlessly and I'm very happy with how it connects with Alexa and the NSPanel. I would give it 5 stars all around but I'm waiting to see how long they work flawlessly since I've had a lot of issues with sonoff dimming switches.

Didn’t work for me after several hours of troubleshooting. Overall wiring install is same as other units. It’s a bit large so make sure your housing/fan cover is also. Connected to remote relatively easily .. or so I thought. After a few hours the fan would beep constantly for a minute or until the remote is pressed. Did this randomly for several hours. No documentation as to why. And I could never get wifi device to add … or even to enter pairing mode. Again, online documentation is poor. There isn’t even any for ifan04 … only the ifan03. Maybe it doesn’t matter but fact there isn’t any seemed odd and concerning. I have dozens of other IoT devices. This was by far the most confusing and frustrating. Returned the unit.
