I have to give this product 3 stars. While it’s exactly what I needed. It has the cubbies to keep me organized, the structure itself seems durable and it fit well in my space. The price point was good, but the box did not come with the required screws which is very disappointing! I managed to put it together with the screws so let’s see how long it lasts! I thought it was going to be partial board but it’s a thin metal! The design is functional, so it will work for what I need! Note to seller…please send me screws!

This stand has poor instructions, and is poorly designed. The "bolts" are plastic and barely hold the sides together. In fact the act of putting it together made the stand come apart. The steel is thin -- and easily bends during assembly. There is no way that it is strong enough to hold an item of weight like my printer.

This printer stand is perfect once it’s put together. It’s all metal & very sturdy. Putting it together wasn’t that easy. I have been putting furniture together (from IKEA) for decades. But the title white plastic screws are very difficult to insert. No printed instructions, just pictures, which was okay. I used a small rubber mallet to push the screws into the intended hole. But most of them would break in half. I wasn’t able to push them in with my hands alone, neither was my husband. I’m glad that extra white screws were given, but I still was missing a couple when I was done. It’s still sturdy, I’m not worried it will fall apart.

I chose this particular printer stand / organizer because it’s made of metal. Other reviewers who said you’ll need a hammer were absolutely correct! Those little plastic pins just wouldn’t go in with elbow grease alone. I first assembled it without the divider on the upper shelf. Then I changed my mind and went back and installed the divider because the shelves are large (deep) enough for 8.5x11” paper even with the divider. Just letting you know you CAN assemble and use it fine without the divider. Pay attention to the arrows in the drawings on the instructions regarding which way the panels are to be installed. Easy assembly with the forementioned hammer. It feels very sturdy and the included “feet” really do keep it in place very well.

You will need a hammer and some patience. The little plastic “screws” are not easy but the finished shelf is sturdy and looks good.

Love this unit! It fits exactly right atop a two drawer file cabinet, looks great, and it is hard to believe that it is metal unless you feel it. It is tab and slot assembly held in place by some plastic rivets. The rivets take some strength to push home, but once in place, it is solid. I use the left top slot for typing paper, the right top for scotch tape and a stapler, and my photo paper beneath that.

Super-easy to assemble... no tools and very clear directions. I always had stuff pile on the printer and had to move it all anytime I sued the scanner. Now the stuff has a place and the printer is more useful.Sturdy metal won't warp from weight . It will handle accidental spills better than fake wood or heavy board.Happy to recommend to anyone that wants a reasonably priced solution.
