I bought a pair of Lekato wireless transmitters originally. I'm moving on from them and onto these for a few reasons. The Lekato version is very cheaply made, the switches are not lined so they rattle depending on the amp which is very unpleasant during clean lower volume practice sessions. Also they very easily are interrupted by outside wireless signals from bluetooth and some other wireless devices... I literally can't use them with my scarlett because its next to bt monitors and even though they are physically plugged in I still get constant interruptions which destroys any recording potential. Also no battery indicators or alternate channels. These Sondery transmitters are much much better. I can plug them in and play, no interruptions. I did initially have a bad channel, but switching to a different channel fixed that & it also persisted in a good connection. Also they have light up screens, battery indicators, multiple channels, and put out a much much better signal. The other perk is instead of sliding switches that rattle they have press and hold buttons for power, 1 tap kill switch, and of course the channel selection. At this time I'm very happy with them and they were the same exact price as the aforementioned. I'm definitely not going back.

Two things make me enjoy these better than the Xvives that are (now) my back-up set, along with some Pogolabs:1) Excellent clear but smooth sound- I play several times a week in acoustic sets and the quality of the sound reduces the EQ required- the less you have to faff around, the easier the set-up. It's not too bright but still brighter than the, frankly, slightly muffled Xvive U2s I also have. YMMV...2) Auto pairing (on this device at least) means if I suddenly get interference from someone's phone, I just click the channel change button on the guitar transmitter and, usually, it's gone. No need to to go the amp and fiddle around with the two devices. That makes a huge difference as I may not be able to get to the amp very quickly/easily on the night. Many systems require you to access both devices, this one doesn't.3) Battery life: I play 4hr sessions and 2hr gigs- for the former, I have to switch off the transmitter when having a break or it wouldn't last the night, so, not quite the 4hrs promised by the advert (this after 1 year's use). The receiver would easily last 4hrs but it has less work to do obviously. This battery issue is why I also sometimes use the Xvive U2s as their battery life is better, but not enough to make me want to use them over the Sondery's better (to me, for acoustic guitar) sound quality.4) 5.8GHz: received wisdom is that the higher frequency has les interference than the 2.4GHz ones. This has not been my experience- it just seems to be getting worse on all frequencies- this may be down to increased wireless use or increase in devices that use 5.8GHz but mainly seems down to the quality of the unit involved: Xvive is best this way, followed by the Sonderys and worst on the cheap Pogolabs. Bear in mind that you have to hold both Xvives to changes channels, which can be either a pain or impossible depending on the situation you're in. Can't remember for the Pogolabs as I haven't used them for several months...sorry.Hope this helps someone!

Consigliato sicuramente.

I purchased this item because some of my guitars have active pickups. Works excellent with active & passive pickups, and no noticeable latency whatsoever. Fast charging & long lasting battery, I can complete a full 3 hour gig and still have battery power afterwards.

I tried 4 cheaper kinds and brands before these. Those cheaper ones gave me interference , horrible humming noise, etc. These guys OMG!! 4 channels to use, 5.8 Ghz freq, LCD screen...a MUTE Button! But most important...Quiet!! Besides, I don't know how or why my guitar tone sounds better!! I use active pickups and they tend to be noisy...they get along with this wireless guitar system so well. You will still get that regular natural humming noise that electric guitars produce no matter what but much much more subtle! Well worth the 20 extra dollars for sure! I hope this helps people that are exploring these new generation devices and avoids them many trials before finding the quality, functionality and price these ones have. I'm so happy. After 4 other products that disappointed me, these are the ones for me!

I'm using this with my "The Band" fiddle pickup. I wasn't sure if it would fit or not given the small area, but it fit perfectly. I finally had a chance to run it at a live show and everything worked well. No problem with pairing or interference and the sound quality was solid. I didn't listen critically with headphones, but I didn't detect anything that bothered me -- levels were virtually identical to wired, at least with the pickup I used. No issue with battery life, either, although I only ran it for about 1 hour for this particular event. I threw a USB charger in my bag so if I ever need an intermission charge, it'll be right there.I really like not having to compete with other 2.4 GHz stuff, too, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to try these units.I usually play multiple instruments, so I'll probably get another pair so I can be completely wireless.Other thoughts --Wish they supported more than 4 channels.Likewise, I'm somewhat dubious as to how durable they are, but we'll see. Hard to complain too much, given the price.I'll write more after I've given them some more rigorous workouts...

First: I paid full price for this, just a shopper like you.I have tried a different good wireless setup and meh didn’t sound good, it worked, but didn’t sound good.I tried this pair because it uses USB-C and UHF, and it’s the only one that does. This led me to believe it’s probably the newest technology since the million other ones all look the same and use mini usb.Anyways- WOW.No humming. No hiss. IT SOUNDS BETTER THAN A CABLE. there is no hollow sound, no interface and no noise gate.I am old school and run a Les Paul with p-90s into a Mesa Boogie. It’s always buzzing and hissing a little bit through the cables. I used this thing and could not believe it! No cable hiss! These are amazing. Oh yeah build quality is great, auto shutoff and mute button is also great. I even used it on active pickups with no issues.

Perfect wireless transmitter. I bought the Xvive (2.4GHZ) for my G&L bass witch it has active pickup so when I switch it to active on my bass I could hear some huming through the sound system. when I conect the this one, the Sondery 5.8GHZ there is no huming at all. GREAT PRODUCT. And you also get a nice display on it!... FYI test the XVive before you by it at the store because once you buy any wireless transmitter you cannot return it that why I'm stuck with the XVIVE
