I spent a lot of time outside on my covered patio in the evenings. This is a very lightweight solar lamp, that hangs on an approximately 2 ft chain. My dad installed a hook in my ceiling, and I created an extension from which I can hang the lamp. I can easily remove the lamp so it can charge in the sun. This makes a very nice addition over my small dining table on the patio. It doesn't put out a lot of light, but it is nice.

This is a really nice hanging solar lantern. I have it hanging in some trees near my driveway and it’s super bright. It’s durable and lightweight enough to keep outdoors all the time. I use it as a way to deter coyotes from our property.

So far, I love this hanging light. It hasn't been very sunny here so I don't think it's at it's brightest yet, but even so it has lit up at night as it's supposed to. It has a long chain so you can hang it from high porch ceiling. My porch doesn't have a very high roof so I just folded the chain back and it works perfect and I love the vintage-style lightbulb inside.

This solar lantern has a long chain and can be hung with the lamp pretty far down, but I looped the chain to make it shorter. It gets direct sunlight where it’s hanging and stays well charged. It’s durable…went through recent rain, wind, hail event unscathed… The light automatically came right on that night. The light isn’t very bright, but it’s cute and adds a nice touch to my back yard. I’m very satisfied with it.

Beautiful pendant lamp for outdoors! I hung mine on our covered porch near our swing set, so I do not think it will get much sunlight, but it will get enough to last for a few hours. This lamp would do much better in an area that it could get better lighting. It has a beautiful black metal covering, a large light bulb, and a long chain (that could be folded up or easily shortened). The entire lamp was much larger than I expected; over 9 inches in height for the lamp itself. It wasn't very bright, more like a night light, but we do not like bright lights on our porch at night, so it was perfect. I did let it sit in direct sunlight to get a full charge, so the brightness is what it is. Also, the light is a warm light, not a white light. We will definitely enjoy this addition to our porch and the ambiance it provides.

I was hesitant to buy since there were no reviews on these lights but I am pleasantly surprised! Good quality lights and make my space much more cozy. The chain was quite long so I cut it to how long I needed. I’d rather have too much though than not enough. Just waiting to see how long battery life will be but so far I’m very happy with this purchase.
