Used this for some fencing on the farm. Worked out great. Switch is located in the shed so we're not too sure about its water proofness. Otherwise it's perfect.

Unfortunately I canโt use this in my current set up without some modification. This is my fault, not the products fault. It is very well made and should work fine once I get my wiring modified to use this. Like I said it is a very well made item, however it requires bare end on one end of the cable not mc4 connectors.

Has gaskets for water resistance. Cover can be somewhat hard to open due to narrow latch area. Once wired up, tested with load exceeding 20A rating and it tripped quickly.

Set this up for testing by adding the MC4 connectors coming into and out of the box. Switch has a positive feel to it and does what it's supposed to do.

The clearance from the wire to the break is too tight. This product is designed poorly. I recommend a different brand.,

This review is for the Pjerjzn PV Disconnect Switch, 60A, 550V.I have several of these inline solar disconnect boxes. I didnโt realize when I ordered this that it came pre-wired with 10 AWG (6 mm^2) wire and MC4 connectors. That was a pleasant surprise!It also came with mounting hardware, an MC4 wrench and a few MC4 connectors.It is a budget item (as reflected in the price), but I think it is a good value. Since the housing is plastic, I wouldnโt use it long term outside unprotected. Iโm going to use it when I am working on my DIY solar projects as a way to ensure the power is off while I am working on the wiring or testing configurations. I may be outside for a week or two, but not permanently. It is small, easy to use, and ready to go. Itโs perfect!
