I credible product. I use the app everyday to check the solar output and charge of my batteries. It is incredible paired with a 320 watt solar panel.

After messing with one of the many 3 button controllers, this with phone app is great for the price. Also, the logging is very important for optimizing a system or testing for a bigger system. My 20Amp unit seems to run cool at 10 amps, unlike some others.

This is worth the upgrade from the cheaper controllers, pretty well build little unit.App is a little confusing at the start, but nice ones you get used to it.App allows to program output timing, shows log and stats on power generated and used.Wish connection was wifi based instead of Bluetooth so it would be accessible from anywhere.Total noob with solar power, had some issues at the start, trying to run a small pump to fill up my pond, used too small gauge wire between battery and controller causing output to be disabled as soon as I turned it on (major voltage drop) increasing wire gage fixed this issue.Pump is using 5x the power my small solar panels can make, but can program a cycle to turn on output/pump 1min/off 15 minutes for battery to catch up, have to find the sweet spot overtime.

I was looking for charge controller to run my automatic gate in this thing was the least expensive with Bluetooth, and I was amazed at how well it works. The solar panel maintains the battery but in the beginning I was nervous so I always monitored it through the Bluetooth, which is fantastic. Every once in a while I’ll go back and check, and the batteries are always fully charged. I guess the 30 W panel was a little overkill but it only catches a few hours of sunlight because of shading from the trees. I really like the gate opener system and the batteries, not to mention the electrical boxes to make the gate opener operate. All thanks to Amazon.

I liked The price and the features. Bluetooth connectivity and the app were the highlights. However, the app kept showing my battery as a lead acid battery when it was clearly a somewhat new lithium battery. I kept telling the software that it's lithium but it wouldn't save my information and assured me it was a lead acid. Grrr.However, that was the least of my worries. After 5 days of charging with 100w panels on sunny days the battery voltage was still somewhere between 11.4 and 11.8 v on my battery. Wtf.I spent a bit of time measuring everything to see if there was a problem with the panels or my wiring. Everything was fine so I hooked up my cheap charge controller and in one afternoon the voltage went up to 12.4v. So apparently this charge controller is broken and incapable of charging my battery. I guess I'll have to return it.. bummer

This is small, lightweight, and seems to work fine.Very simple to set up, no instructions needed except to always connect the battery before the solar panels.The phone app keeps track of solar input and usage, and produces a daily and monthly graph. Phone can also turn on/off the auxiliary 12v output, by timer or by clicking a link on the phone. Bluetooth range is decent.
