Over the years I've learned that SmartWool is the only brand that I trust for Merino wool products. I own long underwear and several other socks from them, including these. It has enough padding so that my feet feel less sore after walking around 8 or 10 hours when I'm traveling. I also have a pair of the PHD run ultra lights which are great to keep your feet cool in the summertime, but there is absolutely no padding on them and so I find that my feet are sore after being on them for quite a while. That's why I chose this light cushion sock. It's still cool enough for the summer (though I do sweat noticeably more in them than with the ultra light). But the cushioning and support of these socks makes it okay for my uses.

I love wool, so much better than nylon or cotton. Wool can absorb 30% of its weight and still feel dry. Even in Southwest Florida where I live wool is the most comfortable

Love these socks. Durable, wick moisture away, good snug fit, comfortable and great heel cup/cushion. Awesome for playing golf, jogging, hiking. Definitely worth the cost and I’m getting more!

I wear these things all the time during warmer weather. They last a long time, are super comfortable, and they retain their elasticity too.

Good brand nice quality. Thin enough to use with slip on shoes but not to thin to enjoy the comfort of wool.

These are great, so comfortable, warm easy to wear with my trainers, in this xold weather, l can not recommend these enough

I had high hopes for these socks but unfortunately they don't seem to work any better than regular cotton/man-made blend trainer socks, as my feet get equally as hot and sweat as much. I definitely won't be buying these again at close to £20 a pair!On the plus side they seem well made without any loose threads, although the cushioning does 'pad' them out somewhat if you're used to socks that don't have it.

One sock had a hole in it (not the one your foot goes in hahaha)On top of that, these are not the same fit as Smartwool in same size I bought previously (much lower).Decided to repair them rather than go through the hassle of returning but not impressed

I have other Smartwool socks and like them very much. I wanted some of these ‘low-cut’ socks for when the weather is less cold and they do I exactly what I wanted.

Great socks. I have 2 other pairs in woman's size and they fit great. These are unisex and the large for women size 10 shoe is to big. Size chart is off.
