I love smart wool products generally and these are no exception. Really warm and work well to keep grip on tile and wooden floors. Used them in whistler in the cabin we were renting and they kept me warm post ski!

I received these socks as a gift more than a year ago and wore them at night the rest of the winter. Come this winter, I could not find them! I still don't know where the original pair is. I broke down and bought another pair because in the winter, at night, my feet tend to be freezing. I tried other wool socks, bedsocks, slippers with microwaved beads, hot water bottles, you name it. Nothing, however, beats these socks for all night wear. They are thick, cushiony, comfortable. I can wear them while walking, knowing I won't slip. I don't find the little beads on the bottom of the socks annoying or uncomfortable at all, unlike socks you get in the hospital, etc. Because they are smartwool, they do not itch like many other things made of wool. I fall asleep at night with my feet cosy warm, and wake up with them still blissfully warm. They fit well, and do not slip off easily while moving around in bed. I machine wash them and hang them to dry. I don't use fabric softener.

You get what you pay for. These slipper socks are soft, amply cushioned, well made and comfortable. My feet will be nice and toasty this winter.

These socks are warm on their own for mild winter temps but when its extra cold I can simply put on a pair of normal thin wool socks under these and then they are even warmer! And the nonslip grippers on the bottom actually work and don't come off (unlike cheaper socks) I've been wearing these regularly for a couple of months now and will definitely buy another pair.

My feet are always ALWAYS cold. Even when wearing regular socks my toes still seem to stay chilly. My husband purchased these for me and i was annoyed at the cost and the fact that other things have not worked at keeping my feet warm but not sweaty. HOWEVER, these suckers did the trick! my feet are warm, not sweaty and i can even wear them to bed and be comfortable wearing them in my regular shoes. I will be purchasing more of these socks for the cold months and will purchase them as gifts for loved ones that have the same cold feet problem
