These socks are way too thin for the price. They’re not the best quality. People are way too content to spend hard earned money for mediocre products considering the glowing reviews. I ordered two pairs and returned one since I had already worn the first one I received. They aren’t cushioned or anything and not thick enough to wear with casual boots not even hiking boots.For the price gouging this company is doing now, they needs to do way better. I wore one of their merino wool base layers and it got a hole after the very first wash. Reviews from years ago mention excellent quality, and more recent reviews of their product from long-time buyers are poor. I want companies to bring back the quality we deserve instead of reducing quality and increasing prices. It’s enough.

Would absolutely buy again , they're thin enough to wear with work shoes , boots , or sneakers. Super warm and comfortable, didn't shrink in the wash either!

I have several pairs of this sock and love them. They are warm in the winter but wearable year round. They are no cushion so they are substantial enough to be good quality but not so thick to make shoes tight. Anything Smartwool has always been a good purchase for me.

Bought these a bit on a whim after reading an article about the benefits of using merino wool. I am completely satisfied with the socks. Took them on a month long trip to Europe and hand washed them after wearing. Having two pair guaranteed that one would be clean and dry to wear. We're very comfortable and not hot even on the hottest and muggiest days. Definitely recommend them and would buy more in the future.

I often avoid long socks but they’re a must in winter, these are not too thick so they pair well with my leather boots. It’s stretchy enough that it feels comfortable on my large calves.

The best socks are pricey but they wear like iron. Warm and comfy. Not bulky and can be worn with regular shoes.

I have order order so many crew socks, would always have to return them; being to tight and too big. I am 79 years young and like to look stylish, I have very small feet and its getting where so many shoe store don't carry my size and the rest have "old lady shoes". In the past I have to order size youth socks so they would fit, you don't have many choices this way of color. I like army green no connection with the army but do like the color. That being said I am beyond happy over your socks, color great and fit is PERFECT. Not too tight at top either. Will order again. Thank you, thank you. Diane from Georgia
