It’s small, like two and a half fingers grip. For me it’s exactly what I needed since I didn’t like my other bulky top handle. Just buy one.

the ergonomics of this top handle is great for smaller setups with the built in coldhoe and arri mount on the front allows you top mount other accessories such as a monitor, mic, or light. and with the size it takes up less space in your camera bag

The only thing I think would improve this handle would be either a nato quick release option, or thumbscrews like those on some of SmallRig’s side handles, so the handle could be removed a little more quickly.

I thought of buying a longer and bigger top handle so that I can attach lots of accessories, but I am glad that I got this one. I use this top handle for a smallrig universal phone cage.This handle is light and is shorter than others. It’s about 8cm in length (top). I can slide one finger in the front of the centre point and then two fingers back. This would give better gripping and no or less accidental slipping.There is a safety release on the cold shoe. You just need to press it to release your accessory. You can always attach adaptors on the top or front if you need more places to attach your accessories.To fit your screws in, you first need to place a screw in the centre of long hole (bottom) and screw it in a bit with your fingers. Once the fat bottom part of the screw is in, you can slide it to left or right and do the same for the second screw. I use nylon washers to avoid scratches.

When you first get this and are ready to attach it to the cage, you may think that the screws provided are too big. To the untrained eye, there is a slight width adjustment in the center of the rail that will allow you to screw the screws in one at a time. Once past the screw lines they slip in and are moveable to fit both sides of the screw holes which allow you to attach to the cage and screw in nice and tight.

Pretty good! It's a small top handle probably about half the size of the normal ones. I don't mind it but if you have a heavy rig this might not be for you because it's short. Great build quality though

In the "About This Item" section there is a note stating the handle is dark olive, not black, but note, at the time of this review (March 2023), dark olive isn't available on SmallRig's website and the item you'll receive from Amazon will be black. This worked great for me as I really wanted the handle to be black but this was the only small top handle SmallRig offered so I was okay getting a dark olive one.That aside, this handle is perfect for my needs (something small/portable and not obtrusive). Even with my big hands, I can grip this handle firmly and I never feel like I don't have control of my rig. If you're looking for a small top handle, you can't go wrong with this one.

This thing fits even in big hands in an extremely comfortable way. I wish they still had the Nato rail option but this one still works tremendously.

L'une des plus petites poignées de DSLR du marché ! Montée sur une cage elle vous permettra de transporter plus sereinement votre caméra ainsi que de réaliser des plans plus près du sol. Son adaptateur sur le devant permet d'accueillir un moniteur. Peu cher mais très efficace !

I was hesitant to buy this because every version I found was a dark olive color, which didn't match my UURig cage. I even painted the wooden handle black, so I care about this sort of thing. It was a very nice surprise to see that this one was black! Seller was SmallRig here on Amazon if anyone wants to know. What you want to look for is the model number HTS2756B. B is for black. I didn't think the B version was available in the US, but I was wrong.It feels great on the ZV-1 with the UURig cage. One issue is that the screws on top of the UURig cage are wider than the top handle allows you to space the screws. Luckily, when I screwed down a single one, there was enough friction without much effort, that the top handle does not rotate whatsoever. I would feel confident placing my Atomos Ninja V on this with a large NPF battery, and I don't think it will budge.
