Got this as an addition to another track they sell. Perfect gift for my 5 year old son! Great gift that brings back my childhood as well! The adjustable nob on the controller is awesome because it helps my son keep the cars from flying off the track. It was easy to assemble, it took a few minutes before we were having a blast. The cars have a strong magnet for great connectivity.

During a recent grandson visit we pulled out our sons old slot car track thinking it might be fun for the grandson to play with. Turned out to be more frustrating than fun but he couldn't stop talking about race cars. We decided to go ahead and purchase something more up to date and settled on this with no expectations of anything great but good enough for a 4 year old. Turns out this thing is amazing.Incredibly fast and the magnetic grip helps keep the cars on the track. These tracks are a big improvement from the ones I played with as a boy.Sure made for a great time with the grandson.

This track is the perfect size for my 5-year old! The cars are fast and have headlights to race in the dark. It comes with four cars that you can race all at once...or, in our case, set aside two cars as replacements. The cars are very touchy and you have to constantly readjust the bottom of the cars. The track also doesn’t stay together well. Waste of money. And not for kids that don’t understand slowing down for corners, the cars will fly off the track.

I remember having something similar as a kid, and the technology is pretty much unchanged, but its a great little toy. Fairly easy to assemble, instructions aren't great and the plastic isn't the best quality its the soft kind so you might need a bit of strength to slide some of the pieces together, but its not too bad. The most I had trouble with was the supports for the loopty loops.You get 4 little cars to choose from, and they can go FAST. the controllers actually have a little knob to control sensitivity and power. If you gun it right off the bat even on medium settings its very easy to send your car flying. I recommend supervising the kids when they play with this because aside from racing this toy doubles very effectively as a high speed toy car cannon. But because you can actually mess it up and because there are some obstacles on the track it makes it possible to actually races the cars and not just press go and watch them zoom around. There's even an automatic lap counter.Its a good toy, the kids have lots of fun with it and the cat is also very into watching the cars go round and occasionally trying to catch one.

This is a good beginners set. Granddaughter and I have a good time with it. Cars are very fast. you can adjust the throttle so they don't leave the track. Tubo button is way to much for the short track.would recommend.You need to take care when putting the track together. A youngster could do it but might break the track if not careful. Recommend adult or 13 yo to assemble.
