Works great on my S/A 45 cal mini compact 1911Very smooth action on my carry gun. This gun is 23 years old and I have used many lubricants during that time. This has been the best. I use it on the slides and the hammer & sear. Reduced trigger pull from 3.2 lbs to 2.9 lbs. This gun has shot about 1500 rounds at the range. No problems.

This jar is bigger than I thought it would be, this is a new purchase for me, I have not use it yet, but base off of a lot of other people's opinions this is spoused to be really good stuff!

If you’re wanting a superior weapons grease, this is the one. A little goes a long way and this stuff just works. I use it on all slides, springs and anywhere I have direct metal to metal contact. Works fantastic.

I think so. Supposedly it's non-toxic.After using this for a couple months, I'm impressed. It works great on all sliding surfaces.

My sons compete in USPSA, SCSA, SASP, yadda. A lot of this is done with race 22s and 9mm. We have run matches with 2-3 for each kid in each in 20F, 10F, and 8F this winter. ZERO issues. Guys switch to to the thinnest lubes they can because its cold and still have problems. EWG lives up to all of its claims including and especially its low temp claims. Cleaning their stuff is just wiping except the barrel with EWG. Incredible product. We now take down all g***s once, clean them well with the Slip 725 and just lightly grease. Takes so much work out of all of the cleaning and runs like a dream. Remains on the bolts/slides.

I have only used this product once which is why I gave four stars instead of five. It appears and feels like it is exactly what I want for a gun lube. It will take time and many uses before I can decide if the score should be raised or possibly lowered.

I was a bit unsure about ordering this product, being completely satisfied with my present gun lubricant, but I took a chance based on its 5 star rating. Sure am glad I did. My oil was very good and stayed "wet" for long periods, but it would run down the stocks of my AR-15's off the bolt carrier. This product stays exactly where you put it and never moves. I coat the barrels, slides and rails of my Glocks that I use for hide-outs or have stored, and never worry about them going dry. I use it on all my blades that are stored for long periods in go bags. It completely covers, so I don't have to be concerned about rust or oxidation. I think it would be effective even in the rain. It will not go "dry" and turn to powder like some white grease or pink lubricants I have used. It is also "colorless" on a Glock or AR. Once applied to the piece, you do not see it. Even on a shiny blade, it is hardly noticeable. The only mistake I made at first was using too much. A little does go a long way. I put some on a few large patches and keep them in a Zip-Lok bag so I have it immediately available to wipe something down. That way, I don't continually have to open the container. I haven't done any testing so far as cleaning after shooting, but I would imagine any residue would remain on top of the greased surface and wipe off rather easily. Good Stuff. I like it.

I'm using this on an AR-15 and a Glock slide. No failures since I started using it,even when they're really dirty, and I'm impressed how much smoother my guns are running, not that they were all that rough before. I'm pretty sure I'll be switching over to the Slip 2000 system for cleaning and lubing next time I get around to cleaning my guns.I decided to give Slip 2000 a try after reading about EAG Tactical Filthy 14, built by BCM, in SWAT magazine (look it up, it's worth the read). Pat Rogers, the owner of EAG, is a huge fan of both BCM and Slip 2000, and I figured it was worth a shot. Everybody has their own system that they think is the best, and all others are awful in one way or another, but I like to have an open mind and try everything out.My guns aren't safe queens, and I don't really clean them; I run them wet and dirty. I started using EWG on one of my AR-15 bolt carriers, and continued to use Breakfree CLP in the BCG and the rest of the gun. EWG did a great job staying wet and in place after a few hundred rounds, so I put it on the charging handle as well, and now charging is incredibly smooth. (An extended, "tactical" latch can make it so that you kind of twist the handle when you slam it back with your support hand, which leads to wear that is a bit uneven and rough;EWG helps with that.)Because EWG is a grease and not a liquid, it doesn't run or burn off so the solids that it holds on to (keeping carbon etc. off of the metal is one of the goals of a good lubricant) stays on the wear points. I'll probably wipe down the carrier and replace the grease every 1000-2000 rounds to avoid this becoming a problem (I used to add CLP every time I left the range, now I just toss my guns in the case).I'm pretty sure my next purchases are for the stuff I have CLP on now and / for cleaning.
