I needed a specific light bulb for two older Hunter Fans and could not find the bulbs in the stores. This were exactly what I needed for the two fans. They fit perfectly and are working well.

Our outdoor lighting fixtures use the inconvenient two prong design. Unfortunately, once you convert to a conventional screw base, the bulb is visible. These bulbs are very squat / short and suit our fixture design well.

i can't vouch for the lifespan on these things... the one that wasn't broken works fine i suppose. i was trying to contact the seller about the fact that 3 of the 4 bulbs i received were broken upon arrival, but there's no 'easy' way to do so, it's just not worth it. amazon had these nice and bubble wrapped and in a package where they couldn't bounce around, the amazon package was also perfectly intact, no dents or rips or anything, so this is an issue with whatever place it is shipping them out. let me tell you, when i picked up a box you can HEAR just how broken and completely shattered some of these were, whereas the one non broken one didn't make any sound at all. i dont think they have a very good quality control checking system. would have been happy to receive a partial refund or even replacement bulbs but i dont want to have to call in about it... sorry, that's just the truth. i've got 4 kids, ain't nobody got time for that.

I have an outdoor light fixture that has a very short area for a lightbulb. This bulb fits and it is a fraction of the cost of a bulb from a specialty lighting store. The fixture is on a photosensor so is used about 12 hours a day. I do not know what the light fixture designer was thinking, but the bulb is difficult to remove. The extensive use of the bulb and the difficulty in removing it necessitates a bulb with longevity and this bulb lasts 18months-2 years. This bulb fits the fixture, it puts out enough light, it lasts a reasonable amount of time, and the cost is right. That makes the bulb perfect for me.

3 of the four were great. One was shattered when I got it. For the price you pay they should get them to your unbroken. Really sucks
