Case is solid and sturdy, comes with a nice cleaning cloth. Grip cover fits nicely and provides good grip and adds comfort while holding the system.

OEM like fitment and quality. I was looking for a grip case that didn’t cover the whole console and found this. Just as other reviews mentioned this is a very premium grip and hard shell case. The already easy to hold console feels even nicer now (textured grip on the back) making it feel more like a Xbox or Switch Pro controller. The ease of accessibility when pressing buttons or connecting the USB-C cable from my docking station to console isn’t affected by the case. One of my favorite parts is the simple, tasteful design of this company’s name and logo placement on the product. Well done Skull and Co!

After owning the official carrying case from Asus and left wanting on the quality on offer for the cost, I decided to look into alternatives.I’ll keep this short. This is the case to buy if you’re looking for a grip and carrying case combo.The actual grip case fits *perfectly*. All of the ports and vents are unobstructed, and the feel in the hands is remarkably improved due to the added depth afforded by the case. As a bonus, it stands vertically on its own without a need for an additional kickstand or dock. It fits on the device just snugly enough without being at all difficult to put on, and allows for a one handed grip without slipping off the sides.The carrying case is of equally high quality, with a hard shell exterior and soft felt liner. The zipper feels as though it’s made to last and aesthetically it’s very nicely understated unlike the ROG case.For the money spent, I have less than zero complaints. This is the standard to which all other cases should be held to.

This cover and case fits my ally X like a glove. The top portion of the grip case could be a bit more tight but i hardly notice any movement so it’s fine. It adds some much needed weight and grip so I feel more confident holding it. Pretty good hard case for travel as well! Has a strap to hold your handheld in place.

Well, there it is. Basically the perfect combo for those of us with bigger hands or who find the Ally to not be super comfortable. Slipping the grip case on and off is easy as pie, and fitment in the travel case is basically perfect.Just some minor rough edges on the grip case, but nothing to really bother you. One request would be for a white grip case, but that's not current offered at the time of review.Overall, excellent, comfortable, protective, - and the fact that the Ally stands up in the grip case is the cherry on top!4.75 out of 5. Excellent.

The case is top notch and designed to fit with the grip installed. It has a soft flap and some pockets for SD cards. Some people dislike that it can’t fit the charger but very few cases can and those that do are massive. 5/5 on the case.The grip is a solid 3.5/5. It feels really nice in the hand and goes on easily. It is a nice material and can absorb some impact. My biggest gripe is that the edges that surround the screen don’t attach firmly so if you grab it by the face then those thin parts will move and it feels a bit wobbly. It’s not at risk of coming off and it’s just the nature of the material but it does still annoy me a bit. Lots of good windows for ports and nice button covers. It hugs the screen perfectly and gives the whole device a cool look.
