These shin guards fit well and are comfortable enough. However they don't provide quite as much protection as a solid shin guard would. I have also had issues with these kinds of materials breaking down in the dryer, so if you are cleaning them make sure you give yourself enough time to let them air dry!Another of those "certainly better than nothing, and not bad, but not the best on the market" products.

As described - still a tad tight for daughter however, they worked for the soccer season. Stayed in place and had durability.

My son uses these pads as protection in addition to kneecaps for his usual trick skateboarding activities on half-pipe, etc. These are comfy, easy to put in, don't add any weight, and protect from impact / scratches. I am not sure if these would be suitable for soccer activities? As the pads are relatively thin / slim. But these guards certainly works alright as protection against falls and scratches during skateboarding. Nice item!
