Very nice case, albeit a bit pricy. Solid and usable. Spacious. Good foam. Keep your weapons protected. They will return the favor.

Great case. Primarily use it when I'm flying with "toys". Strong and great seal.

I also bought the Pelican 1700 which is a similar size. The SKB is hands down much better quality. The latches close securely. Handles have a rubber finish and are thick enough so when the case is loaded, it's not uncomfortable to grip. The best part is the roller blade style wheels and that it stands up vertically. The Pelican has hard plastic wheels and you can not stand it up verically. So if you are rolling the SKB, you can stop and leave it standing. With the Pelican you can't. This SKB has the pressure valve, as well does the Pelican.Overall, the SKB is solid built and definitely beats my Pelican 1700.

Made locally in CA, extremely sturdy, and it’s stackable with the same case when stored! The wheels are very smooth, and it’s cheaper than the Pelican counterpart, but with quality that’s just as good.

This is a great case and it fit my AR perfectly. I also bought the TSA locks and it held up really well on the plane rides and bouncing around in the back of the truck. I'm looking to buy more for the rest of my firearms.

This has most if not all of the features I was looking for. Well-made, wheels set far apart, solid latches and solid handles on three sides. The lid may not be as stiff as a Pelican's but it's a close second. It is probably just as expensive as the Pelican. How can it be improved? Maybe taller wheels so there's a bit more clearance from the ground. Modular locks like with a Yakima rack, so nothing is misplaced or lost, or if damaged, easily replaceable. A smaller version for 31" tools and this shorter version should also have wheels as well as a pull-out handle. Other than that, an excellent unit. One thing to note with these boxes, it has to be concealed or otherwise hidden from view when inside a vehicle like an SUV or hatchback. Otherwise, it's too attractive.

This case is great! Sturdy, rugged, and high quality. Be aware that this case is not designed to put your weapon in and close it. You will need to lay your weapon on top, sketch it out and cut out the foam for a customized fit. It will take a little work, but if you're handy with a blade, you will have a very professional looking case. The brass master lock 140's fit the lock holes on the side. I recommend the longer ones, although the shorter, regular length will fit - barely.

I purchased specifically to check on to Delta flights but the exterior dimensions exceed 62 inches height+length+width. These dimensions are not listed in the specifications so the only way to find out was to buy and measure. The actual exterior dimensions are 62.75 inches. Too bad since the quality of this case is excellent.
