Put on lid and push down plunger slowly

Love that this French coffee press has no plastic parts - that’s what I was looking for and I’m so glad such a thing exists. I brew two very large cups of coffee with it (about 24 fluid ounces total). I will pour my first cup into my favorite big mug and the rest into a stainless steel insulated travel mug, and that’s all the coffee I need for the day.The glass pitcher and mesh strainer seem durable. I’ve been using this item for over a month now and have no complaints. Note, I don’t wash the lid/strainer nor cradle/handle in the dishwasher. I’m not sure the natural materials would hold up to being soaked for extended period. Washing it by hand seems like the best way to ensure the longevity of the natural parts. This isn’t a problem for me at all.Overall, I love this French press and can highly recommend it.

This product was great for about 1 month of VERY careful use, prewarming the glass and everything.. then it broke. We replaced this one with an all metal version instead and never looked back.

Looks beautiful and well made. There is no plastic that comes in contact with the water or the steam. The only problem is that the top does not seal, so it lets air and other stuff into the glass carafe.

I don't make coffee often this way, once in a blue moon when i have very fancy beans, but i did it just to try this out. it works great. but best of all this is replacing my ugly glass and black plastic one, this has way better visuals. it functions and work exactly as it should, no issues for me. plunger action is smooth and east to use. coffee tasted nice. quick to clean. and looks great in the glass cabinet.

This press is more durable than my last one. A scoop is included, which helps me to consistently brew my ideal strength. The product is large, allowing enthusiasts like myself to brew plenty for the day. Also, the flavor is sublime! I save so much money with this!
