At first I was slightly disappointed with this as I picked up the handle and noticed there was no rubberised grip in the inside, just cold bare metal. But when I looked at my Neewer and Smallrig handle collection I realised that actually not all of my current handles have this. But, this Sirui handle fits in the hand lovely. The shaped underside for your fingers seem perfectly positioned and you really do get a solid grip on this thing. It's surprinsgly comfy. The handle has an Arri mount for securing this to your camera cage - but it ALSO has a NATO mount - not only that but it comes with a mini NATO rail. That makes this insane value for money as a mini low-profile NATO rail can be expensive (I know because I've bought one in the past). The Arro or NATO 'elbow' is part of the handle, and you simply loosen it using the supplied allen key/hex wrench and then swap it out for the alternate 'elbow'.This is genius and I have to give this 5 stars because this is the most versatile handle I've ever had. I have handles with Arri moutns, I have handles with NATO mounts - but this is the first handle I've had which can be either! I have a GH5 Mk2 rigged in a Smallrig cage and depending on whether I'm doing photography or videography I use different handles on it, but now I only need this one handle and it serves all purposes. The handle is solid metal, the grip works really well, and there is plenty of room for my massive hands - there's more than enough clearance so my knuckles don't catch on the mounting screw/lever. I'm very impressed with this. If you are building a rig then this is a great investment as you can have it in different configurations, the handle is absolutely rock solid with no wiggle .

Review for: "SIRUI Top Handle with Locating Mount for ARRI and NATO Mount, All-Aluminium Camera Cage Handle Grip with Cold Shoe with Safety Pin, Multiple Threaded Holes, AM-MTHA, Pack of 1"I am a fans of Sirui when it comes to tripod. Also I love my Sirui Sniper APS-C 16mm F 1.2So when I see this item for Sirui, I give it a try.I already have similar Top handle from SmallRig for my Sony A74 and use this Sirui for my Sony A6700.I actually like this Sirui, because it is si flexible, more features and more mount point.I like the NATO mount better, because it much easier to tighten and loosen (without any tools). The anti-off pin for cold shoe is also a safety feature that I like.Overall it is a most feature rich top handle I found as of today.

Nice handle if you need a lot of mounting points. The hot shoe slots have spring retention too. Handle feels great in your hand and depending on your rig, balances really well.

This handle goes on top of my canon eos r50 in a cage and makes the process of lifting it to shoot videos much simpler. The default locating and tightening mechanism worked just fine and because of the two side pins and the center screw makes it story stable sturdy so I am confident in it. Comes with a few different mounting options that I didn't need but sure appreciate. Overall a great value.

I think this top handle is pretty darn good.It gets almost everything right. It's even more versatile than my more expensive top handles because you can swap the half bottom portion that attaches to the camera or rig, switching between the included NATO & 3/8" screw variant. With that said, my first attempts at attaching the handle with the NATO variant were difficult. It just didn't seem to fit properly onto my camera cage, which I already have rigged with a NATO rail.Eventually, it did work, but it took several attempts.Besides this, I have no other complaints. The amount of mounting points is very generous. You can attach practically anything to the built-in 1/4" and 3/8" screw holes such as field monitors, clamps, microphones, etc.Highly recommended.

I have the Smallrig Mini Top Handle, and I like it for it's compact size, but as my rig has grown, so has my need for something more substantial.I've used quite a number of different handles from a bunch of different brands (there are SO many nowadays) and I can honestly say that this one is my favorite so far.Pros:- It comes with interchangeable mounts for Arri and NATO (SO HUGE!)- Also includes a NATO rail in case you don't have one- It's really comfortable in my hand- Huge variety of mounting points and types on all sides of the handle- The allen wrench needed to swap mounts is built into the handle- The cold shoe mounts have locking pinsCons:- Nothing so farI love this handle and I honestly think it would work well for most people (obviously based on your specific needs)

I really like the versatility of this top handle. Being able to switch between ARRI or NATO style mounts is great, plus being able to flip the mount itself around 180 degrees gives you more flexibility n balancing the rig. The fit and finish on the handle itself is excellent, and it is more comfortable to hold than it looks. For those that use the ARRI mount, it has a 3/8" thread and the pins are not retractable. The handle has plenty of additional threaded mounting points for attaching accessories. I also appreciate the locking cold shoe mounts on the handle as those tend to come loose on me sometimes. Overall, I am very happy with this top handle.

This is an excellent if slightly over-engineered handle for a camera cage.It offers a full length grip that you can get even big hands around. Top and sides have plenty of 1/4 and 3/8 inch holes, including ARRI mounts on top and sides, as well as one at a 45 degree angle to the front, which is my preferred location for a monitor mount. There are three cold shoe mounts, of which the two top ones have locking pins, which is a feature I have not seen before, and may be much approached given the often unsure status of the wheels designed to apply pressure to hold down cold shoe feet. There is even a magnetic slot for a hex wrench. The big feature seems to be the ability to switch the foot back and forth between ARRI and NATO rail mount. (A small NATO rail is included.) I am surprised by this feature. All of my cages have the ability to mount both ARRI and NATO rail mounts. People sometimes say that one is better than the other but I see no performance difference. I prefer the ARRI because it means one less piece on my cage, but others may think differently. Given the availability of handles with either of these mounts, why increase the cost of production by providing the option. I certainly wouldn’t carry the second mount around, no matter how light it is.To access the instruction sheet, one has to scan the QR code on the box. I found I didn’t need an instruction sheet. All in all though, the generous sized grip and the locking cold shoe slots make this item particularly attractive.
