We had to change out the supplied fitting as it didn't meet Enerpac type C-series female coupler. No big deal, we just purchased the correct fitting and replaced the existing fitting. Also, I'm not sure what the correct effective area is, since when I calculate this using the E & F dimensions in the supplied ratings chart, I get a slightly larger cylinder piston effective area. I needed to know what this was for calibrations.

This tool works excellent for me. I got mine from Ebay, managed to remove several pins from big hydraulic cylinders. Competitors rams either too expencive or too heavy and bulky. Tried cheaper type and returned. If You want to buy ram for the certain capacity always consider price, weight and dimensions. Connection for the hose must be also well known type, otherwise need to be replaced.
