I am not a drummer, but I jam with a couple other guitar players now and then, so I've started trying to add some percussion to our jam sessions. I have bongos and a couple other small things. I don't have a kick/bass drum. I'm currently using an empty storage crate as a kick drum, and it doesn't sound that bad! This pedal has a lot of things you can adjust on it. I'm still figuring it all out. This is definitely the opinion of an amateur, but I'm very happy with this pedal.

Very good pedal connected with a double chain. Good action and different beater surfaces to select from by rotating the shaft by 90 degrees. A drum key is provided and can be stored on the pedal. Good deal.

I do not have a-lot of experience with different pedals. I have basically used the same pedal for years. This is a solid pedal. The kick drum clip came out of the box with the nut off. This concerns me over time this may unscrew. The action seems fine. The beater head has two options which is nice. I was able to get some solid double hits. Maybe takes some getting used to. But for the price its a deal.

At this price point ($43 at time of order, currently less than $40 with a 10% Prime discount), this is a great beginner bass drum pedal. It includes a 4-surface beater with a memory lock. The beater angle can be adjusted and locked, which is an unusual feature for a pedal in this price range to include. The dual chain action is pretty smooth, and the side adjustable hoop clamp is designed like those on more expensive pedals. The addition of a drum key and hex wrenches is an appreciated bonus, as well. The only thing missing that more expensive pedals typically include is a case. Overall, an impressive pedal at a very good price!

It is very well made. It comes with a user manual and some tools to adjust accordingly. It can be used as a single or you can purchase the extension to make a double kick. It is good for the price.

This is a decent single bass pedal. It came with two hex parts, but I dont know what they are for as I dont see any hex screws on the pedal that these would be used to adjust. Oh well.It also came with a generic drum key. What I really like is that there is a drum key slot on the pedal base that holds the drum key, so it's always handy when needed!Very easy to assemble and adjust. I also liked the adjustable prongs for use on carpet to keep it from sliding around.I would have given this a 5 star rating except that the foot pedal platform kind of jiggles side to side.Other than that, it appears well made and decent enough quality for beginners or as a practice pedal. I would not professionally gig with this pedal.
